Open Source 'Linus' is 25 while Closed Source Trump is 70 : the world has changed, but he hasn't

In one (dark) corner, the closed source, closed commensal, xenophobic All-White/ Alt-Rights, with seventy year old US presidential candidate Trump as their leader, is fighting back hard against a seventy year old shift to a more open source, public domain, diverse, inclusive, HGT kind of world.
In another corner, most of us are celebrating the 25 years of success of the 'Linus' Torvalds initiated Linux operating system that powers most of the back rooms of the computer world : proudly open source and public domain ---- the globe-wide human equivalent of microbial HGT.

And eighty eight years old this August is the continuing success of public domain/open source Penicillin and HGT itself.
